The Relationship between Social Support and Coping strategies with the Disease among Cancer Patients of the city of the Kerman

Background: Coping Strategies Are Affected By Cancer Pain In Patients. Social Protection IsA Tool That May Alter The Patientchr('39')s Their Encounter With Cancer. Methods: This Study Aimed To Investigate The Relationship Between Social Support And Coping With The Disease Strategies. This Research Was Kind Of Analytical Cross-Sectional Study With A Quantitative Approach, Which Conducted Through The Social Support Self-Made Questionnaire And Billings And Mouse Coping Strategies Questionnaire. The study population consists of all cancer patients in Kerman, which in the second half of 1395, estimated to 1,400 people, And According To Population, The Sample Size Of This Study Was Based Formula Cochran On A Sample Of 300 Cancer Patients In Kerman, The Samples Were Collected Using Systematic Sampling Method. Data Analysis Were Carried Out Using The SPSS21 Software, Pearson Tests With Regression. Results: The Results Showed That Between Social Support And Coping With The Disease Strategies Was Statistically Significant Association (P<0/01) and Problem-Focused Coping Has Most Positive And Direct Relationship With Social Support. Regression Analysis Also Showed That Emotional Aspect (Kindness And Shared Positive Actions), Service-Practical Support And Financial Support Are Able To Predict Coping With The Disease Strategies. Conclusion: According To The Results, Formulation Of A Comprehensive Care Program Among Cancer Patients Along With Increasing Social Support In Order To Choosing Problem-Focused Coping Strategy Are Recommended.
